Abbie has direct experience in pursuing equal education opportunities and carried a desire to widen access to the arts through to the Courtauld Institute of Art, where she did a degree in Art History and researched social injustice in relation to the creative industries.

Alongside her role at Footwork, Abbie works with Creative Wick, supporting the contribution of creative and social enterprise in successful regeneration. Abbie is using the tools learnt to make her own path as a social innovator and dreams of a world which can do a better job of supporting people like her.
