Our Why
Euston regeneration has disrupted green and communal spaces on Regent’s Park Estate. Residents want calm, natural places for rest, creativity and connection, with community ownership embedded into a neighbourhood undergoing rapid change.
Our Idea
We’re exploring how to unlock space for creativity and growing on Regent’s Park Estate. Our idea brings together three strands: creating a resident-designed community garden on the Bucklebury ‘podium’, securing the future of the Neighbourhood Makeshop, and piloting new ways for residents to decide together on regeneration. Together, these projects aim to embed community power, care for the environment and shared ownership into Euston’s future.

About
Old Diorama Arts Centre (ODAC)
All three are involved with Old Diorama Arts Centre (ODAC) - a centre for arts creation and communities based in Euston. Daniel Pitt leads ODAC’s strategic development and community placemaking work; Christiana Pietzsch grew up on Regent’s Park Estate and was a Neighbourhood Curator for the RPE Story Trail project; and Caitlin Strongarm is an artist and community organiser leading the Neighbourhood Makeshop. Their mission is to bring artists and residents together to shape change through creative, community-led action. ODAC delivers public art, placemaking and research projects, and provides affordable creative space for artists alongside free space for Camden-based community groups. Rooted in long-term relationships on Regent’s Park Estate, their work integrates creativity, care for place and community power in a rapidly changing urban environment.
