Rewild the Ends
Rewilding the ‘Ends’ through community-led nature and care

Our Why
My neighbourhood, like many working-class and social housing areas, lacks access to high-quality nature. This deepens food insecurity, poor mental health, unemployment and social disconnection, while green projects often exclude those who need them most.
Our Idea
Our idea is a people-led approach to increasing levels of greening and nature connection in Kentish Town. Key sites will be College Gardens, Castlehaven, Clarence Way and Peckwater Estate. We’re exploring ways to rewild everyday spaces through growing food, regenerative crafts, citizen science and habitat creation. Rooted in lived experience, ancestral futures and the knowledge that we co-evolve with our surroundings, this is a journey of active repair. We begin to heal through investing in our social and ecological health. By restoring ecosystems on our estates, we’re also investing in wellbeing, skills and pathways into green futures for the next generation.
