Time: 5 to 7 PM
Venue: Footwork Trust, 7-9 Woodridge Street, London EC1R 0LL
Housing injustice is one of the most pressing challenges that we face as a society. What greater need could there be than to reimagine how we address it?
This event will look to discuss critical issues in health, housing, and societal change within the public and private rented sector. Discussions will explore sustainable funding models, enhancing social and digital connectivity, overcoming NIMBYism, and the impact of capitalism on wealth distribution. You'll be engaging directly with fellow attendees, exploring new ideas, and sparking meaningful conversations.
Join us on Thursday, 27th June, where the emphasis will be on collaborative, innovative approaches and gaining new perspectives for actionable solutions. As part of the London Festival of Architecture, it is held in collaboration with ArchitectsAware! and Crisis Venture Studios.
We're thrilled to have guest contributors:
Nabil Al-Kinani (Privatise the Mandem)
Andrew Bailie (Roost)
Claude Hendrickson MBE (Community Led Homes)
Charmaine McNally (Self-builder)
Alexia Murphy (Depaul UK)
A special thanks to our friends at Bell Phillips, Gardiner & Theobald, Makower Architects and RCKa.
